What will you learn?

In this class, participants will learn how to wax paper. Also known as encaustic, this age-old technique was used for create beautiful paintings. This method when used on paper makes it translucent, and brings the colour back to the colour of the 'wet' sheet. I use this technique to create my own translucent paper for use in books, but it can also be used to transfer or embed imagery or preserve drawing or collage through time.

What is the duration of the class?
The class will be held over the weekend on a Saturday, 1 hour total. Class starts at 4 pm Sweden time (CEST), December 12, 2020
This is a demo-only class, but you are welcome to try waxing papers alongside. This time includes a buffer for 15 minutes or so for technical issues.

What materials do I need to participate?
With your registration you will receive a complete materials list (along with links) to purchase or find what you need. Students are requested to purchase supplies ahead of the class if they wish to follow along. This is not required, but will be greatly help your understanding of the process. 

How do I register and what is the cost?
The total cost for the class is 40 USD. This does not include any materials you would need to purchase ahead of time.
Once I receive your payment for the class, you are registered and will be sent the materials list and some instructions to start preparing for this class.
